Insomnia is easily and effectively treated by acupuncture. In fact, even when we are not treating sleep issues, most patients report sleeping better after treatments. Acupuncture has a regulating effect on brain chemistry and the central nervous system which manifests in deeper and longer sleep. Expect 3-6 treatments and herbs if there is a systemic or hormonal component.
